A rare piece of WW1 R.F.C. flying Kit. Used for taking images by the observer of the enemy troops, locations, etc. Made in Altringham in around 1916. Made to look like the Lewis MG. so that if the aircraft were encountrered by an enemy, the aircraft would appear to be armed and ready. 39.25 inches long. In very good overall condition. Has not been tested if it still functions as a camera. Quite heavy.
